The game of craps is perhaps the most popular casino game. Its historical origin is in Arabia, because the Moors had a hobby based on throwing the bones, which then gave rise to the craps game that we know today. In fact, since the word derives from the Arabic way of saying "numbers".
Also used to play a similar game in Greece and Rome. In Greek it was known as random, random word from the word that just means "random" is clear. With the Moorish invasion of Europe this simple hobby became widely known, and hence, sailors were in charge of carrying it all over the world including America.
It was the British who gave it the name we know today, craps, based on the word crabs. If we think of a casino game paradigm of American idiosyncrasy, craps is the first thing that comes to mind.
The craps game begins with a tee shot, after which the croupier announces "is coming." This shot will mark the development of the game. If the first shot in the sum is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, set what is called Point. If, however, the sum of this first shot gives 2, 3, 7, 11 or 12, the game ends immediately. In the first alternative takes Game mode ON, so a disc is placed on the table to indicate called "puck".
From this initial move is set score. The dice will be cast on until the same score is reached or seven out. When the dice add up to 2, 3, or 12 is called craps close, and if 7 or 11, these plays are known as natural. When they come out roll is a natural, it can happen again. Different bets can be placed on every shot. Some are conditional (if it goes higher than that ... if you leave less than ...) and try to hit as many bets a certain result.
Some bets are only valid for one round while others are maintained throughout the game. It is this variety of betting opportunities that make this one of the casino games more exciting and fun. When you get two aces, close is called snake eyes. When an ace and a deuce, called crossed eyes. At six pair is known as wagons.
