Bench Marketing
Build benches and then rent advertising spaces on the back of each bench. Install the benches at busy corners such as bus stops. Each bench is, in effect, a miniature billboard. Anyone waiting there or going by can see the ads. Cities, like individuals, like to get something for nothing, so try contracting your government for citywide exclusive rights for your benches. Free benches that you maintain would be hard for any city to pass up.
Envelope Stuffing
Most readers will have, at some time, received bulk mailings of envelopes stuffed full of various flyers advertising a variety of things. You can contract to work at home stuffing the same kind of materials into the same kind of envelopes for bulk mailing. this would be good job for a handicapped person. Look for ads in national magazines for openings in this well-paying fields.
Banners
Flying banners on which you have painted paid advertising is making a comeback. You can fly these giant ads from tethered balloons; this creates lots of public curiosity. Or you can trail these banners from low-flying aircraft along waterfronts and beaches. However you decide to proceed, there is big money to be made in this spectacular form of advertising. Find out local regulations before setting out.
Crickets
Live gray crickets are the ideal bait for bass, trout, and other game fish. You can rise and sell them very inexpensively. In just two years, starting with 200 breeder crickets, you can have 100,000 crickets for sale at $30 or more per thousand. The critters are fed in little plywood boxes on dried chicken mash and leafy greens. Supply all the local fisherfolk through the resorts and sporting goods shop, but sell most of your crickets through ads in national sports magazines to dealers all over the continent.
Notary Public
You can supplement your income by performing the services of a notary public. You obtain the seal and license to become one usually upon the recommendation of two resident lawyers in active practice in your area. (This can very from place to place, so check it out) You will be administering oaths, witnessing signatures to leases, deeds, bills of sale, and so on, for which you can charge a small fee. Advertise with a sign in the front door window of your home. Add on service of typing or retying documents in conjunction with your notary work for extra income.
